BBF participants from around the state joined us in Raleigh on October 27 to hear from leaders at DCDEE and The Hunt Institute about the important work being done to support North Carolina’s children, families, and early educators. Participants learned the roles of each organization and the impact it has on the current and future ECE workforce.
This month, we spotlight Valerie Williams, Family and Consumer Sciences Education Consultant for the Office of Career and Technical Education (CTE) at the NC Department of Public Instruction. We talked to Valerie about ECE curriculum, credentials, and the importance of this curriculum to the overall ECE workforce.
